Man, it’s been a busy week! I started my Eastern Canada Tour (playing with some awesome bands, including Wax Mannequin last night in Hamilton), and have already had some wonderful things happen; radio interviews on Regent Radio with Paul Corby, ‘best bet‘ picks in the Hamilton Spec, and 2 days ago I found out one more delightful piece of news.
My EP ‘Pitch Pipes’ has been nominated for 2 awards at the NOMFA’s (Northern Ontario Music and Film Awards) in Sudbury. 1 for the “Best Vocal Performance” category, and “Best Engineer”, which will hopefully be going to Chris Dorota at Dining Room Studios. A third nomination came in to Piotr Skowronski and Curtis Jensen for “Best Film Editor” for my music video for the song ‘You‘. I’ll keep you all posted, as we’ll find out who the winners are at the awards ceremonies in Sudbury in April.
