The Study

Welcome to the Machine

Brief update from the road – I’m touring all over the US at the moment, playing some neat intimate shows, festivals, and much more! If you haven’t caught me on this leg of the tour, there’s more coming up, just check out the Tour page. But in the meantime, please check out this cover of Pink Floyd’s “Welcome to the Machine” that I did at The Study this past September. Thanks to The Walleye for capturing it on video!

‘Pitch Pipes’ EP = RELEASED

Just last night, The Study hosted the ‘Pitch Pipes’ a cappella EP release party. With over 150 in attendance, it was an amazing night of bluegrass, barbershop, and harmony! Thanks to everyone for coming out, and I hope you enjoy your free copy of the EP!

For everyone else, the EP will be available online later this week.

Also, I’ve just announced my tour dates on facebook, so check out the tour dates there, and on my own page here.

“Pitch Pipes” A Cappella EP release party!

Finally the A Cappella EP known as “Pitch Pipes” will be ready to launch on February 11th!

It’s going to be a helluva party, with the Greenbank Trio opening the show, followed by The Greasy Creases. Both acts have a bluegrass-y sound, which works well with this show, as the theme is vocals and harmony (and the Creases have 8 members!).

But on top of that, right before I hit the stage, there will be a very special performance from some old friends of mine, The Noteables. They’re a barbershop quartet from the Gentlemen of Harmony, who I used to sing with a few years ago, and that definitely encouraged a love of 4-part harmony.

Here are some of the details:
